I want to update my PC

Image representing AMD as depicted in CrunchBaseImage via CrunchBaseI will probably update the core components next year. Ram, motherboard and processor. 1300 mhz 8g ram prob, and an Intel processor (I currently use AMD phenom II quad core 3.2 ghz ) .

My graphic card sucks as hell (ati 5670 ) but I am hopping that the release of the new generation of consoles boosts both graphic card market and gaming market.

Current games have the same graphics as the ones last year simply due to the stagnation that the current console market created. Same power with no evolution in 5 years leads to a total stop in developing more realistic games.

Why? Consoles create a much more lucrative market when comparing with PC.
That leads to a stagnation in the development of more powerful graphic cards. I really want to change mine to a better one, but not to one that is 5 times faster. I want 10 or 20 times faster, for just a bit more ( 200 € instead of 130 € ) .

So please Microsoft , or Sony (lulz Nintendo doesn't count on this one - Wii uses 2000's graphics... ) , release the beasts !!!!

The future android idea

I have an android. Like many millions of humans on earth I have a mobile device that runs android. Its a samsung gio. Nothing special. 800 mhz of pure mhz.... Its the same power my 1997 computer had . I think. I was seven and I don't quite remember. I do remember playing a.game when I was three in a dos greenish computer. Without knowing how to write I knew already how to type the code to start the game . It was that one where you destroy a city...or you protect a city . Don't quite remember those details...

Anyway ... I have an android. A very slow device compared to my quad core desktop computer. Nothing that surprises anyone but ... I wished I could have a phone with more juice. The thing is it aint happening that soon.

Of course we already have dual core phones and soon we will have qud core and so on but the battery effect cuts the juice. No battery no power. And no one wants a phone that runs for just 5 minutes. Who the hell wants that??

me I guess. but then again no... i still need a 8 h working phone.
but the games!!! oh the beauty of the games. have you played any of the recent games?? oh the graphics. the online . the stuff !!

you just cant really do that on your phone. except that one that runs in ios. that one kicks ass.

my final point. I want a phone that runs ps2 like games. minimum. and it cant be that hard since ps2 is a fossil currently and that tech is probably avaiable at a very reduced size and price. so please do fix the battery problem because thats the only thing thats keeping the world from playing counter strike on their phones. that and the absence of a physical mouse and keyboard.

there I said it. now im going back to angry birds.

My return to Steam, the good old days

A long long time ago, in a galaxy... well in this galaxy, I used to use Steam a lot. Those who do not know what steam is... well... Steam is a platform , for gaming... mostly online. Before you call me serious nerd with no life and hipster, I must warn you.... I don't really care about that. But those interested , let me tell you the beautiful story of Steam and Me.

Steam, the good old days
Yeap those where the days. Computers were reaching 2.2 Ghz, graphic cards with 512MB were the top high end cards and I was in the middle of nowhere learning what was counter strike 1.6. I was noober than now. I didn't understand the concept of head-shot and ctrl+a was the rule for buying stuff. And that was it.
Until... Until Half-life 2 went out. I was fascinated by the graphics ( they are common now but at the time having talking characters like in real life was mind blowing.

I played hours. Hours and hours. I bought the game, and installed steam. And with steam... came Counter strike source.

I played, made friends. Then I met new friends at school who played too . So we all played, made a clan , rented a server and had a great time together. Then as usual , things crashed, we grew up, and I left steam.... well....for a while.

So one day, in november, I installed steam in my uber not leet and noobest Eee Pc. Installed source and played  in relax mode at 5 fps. Good times. No friends then no more. Just me in the dense work of steam. Got bored and left. Steam works well with friends. Alone makes little sense. At the time.

So I bought COD , the last one. Played the campaign. Hated the online mode. And Steam was left there. Untouched. Waiting. Like GlaDOS . Waiting for me 2 return..... and yes... This story.. Continues. Take your companion cube while you wait for it .
